Video: Building 3lb Carbon Fiber Skis (6lb/pair)
This Summer we had a request to make a 3lb/ski (6lb/pair) for a customer who does a fair amount of hiking with his skis in his bag, before he gets to snow to start skinning uphill. After a few conversations back and forth, we decided to take on his project and push the boundaries of how light we can make one of our models using ultra light carbon fiber, while still using a hardwood core (grown in the USA).
